    Hi all Im new to all this stuff and was wondering........ I have a wii with a chip in it and was wondering if i could modify it with software and a harddrive without taking the chip out????

    If you can read and carefully follow directions and press buttons, yes.

    ModMii literally gives you a step by step guide on what to do, and is even kind enough to provide you with every single file you will need in the modding process.
