Does this have split-screen multiplayer? does it allow split-screen multiplayer online? I was really bummed Goldeneye didn't have the latter! although understandable I guess. No more Live for me on my 360, so...heh

maybe this is a dumb question but why do people still care if a release is Pal or NTSC? I thought everyone could pretty much always play either by now..? I've got a PAL wii but I always grab the NTSC releases and play em via cfg USBloader no worries..

If English is your mother language then you don't really care. But there are some that like to play in their own language and then PAL is for them.

I often don't care, too. Especially because NTSC tends to be uncut, rather than PAL. Think about the crippled versions for the German market.
However, the games for the kids have to be PAL for me, otherwise they are stuck without aid

Because some of us would never Softmod the Wii.
Me for example, I have two Wii's one with Wiikey II and for the other one WODE, so just Modchips.

I would never like to Softmod, to many different cios and ios and bricks, just putting DVD (Wiikey II) or Harddisc/SD Card (WODE) and play, thats what I want and thats why I care for a Pal release.

c'mon, guy, if you knew anything at all about the wii you would know that this is not true at all. unless you are installing out of region wads or themes, you have nothing to worry about. and the ios's can be taken care of in 10 minutes time or less with pimp my wii, or just by knowing what you are doing.

in fact, modchips and playing from disc, is a bad idea all together. you are very misinformed, friend... too bad... you are missing out on amazing homebrew like wiiflow and wiimc, not including the emulators... such a shame...

you realize with a modded wii it becomes region-free, right? therefore a PAL release means nothing... it will work exactly the same except you will most likely have missing content with the PAL release compared to an NTSC release... you are just digging yourself a deeper hole with these inconsistencies...

I tried it, and after 3 minutes gave up. I'm really sick and tired of this half-products. They are just using Wii's lesser hardware capabilities for an excuse.

Let's remember a nice little PS2 game:

Compared to the Wii version of NFSHP it looks like a distant future.

agreerd modchips feel so obsolite compared to usb loaders, i haven't used my modchip for ages now since i installed a usb loader, loadeing times are much faster too. but this topic is not about modchips it's about the actuall release...

that is gameplay of burnout 3 on the ps2... i could imagine what the graphics would look like on the wii but meh who cares the reason i play will games is becasue of the cheating that you can't do on other consoles....

I just played a quick race. The game could be fun, but the first impression wasn't that good. It seems like a remade NFS Nitro in the image of HP. I'm sticking with Nitro on the Wii.

omg, the graphics suck. i drove two races and than vomited on my controller.
i know wii doesnt have HD-graphics, but it looks even worse than most wanted on gamecube...

I don't care about graphics. if I did, I would play on a PS3.
All I care about is gameplay. Do the cars handle realistic? Respond the car like it should do?
Or is it all frustration again to play this?

There is still no realistic racing game on the Wii that plays like it should play!

well there is that gt pro cel shaded game.. I kinda liked ,it has 5 cars and 3 tracks but it plays like granturismo

and after that nothing..xcept maybe pro street..

...and the saddest part is that wii has a great steering wheel capabilities..

They should have just named this NFS Nitro 2, bet it would've received a warmer welcome that way. This is just a sad excuse for a console multiplatform. I'll give it a shot anyway, I did like Nitro after all.

Nope, the Wii version was definitely neglected. I know the Wii is not HD, but hey - all the latest games looked nice and polished, even 3rd-party ones! Goldeneye, BlackOps, Sonic Colors, leave alone the upcoming DKC Returns and such monsters as Other M and Super Mario Galaxy 2. WTF is here?

Why, say, Activision is doing a very solid work with Call of Duty every year while EA keeps cashing in? BTW, Activision sells about million copies each year on the Wii.

"Developers get it when their very best content is on our platform"

Now, EA has half assed products while Activision´s 3 greatest cash cows, CoD, SpiderMan and Hero games are always here and always fully featured.
