NFS Nitro was a really good game actually, but this is just blah.
Such a shame, lazy ass developers!
I have to agree. This game feels like an inferior game, that seems like a spiritual successor to a pretty good one...

Also not that I care too much about graphics but without the stylization of the background the game looks pretty bad tbh...

BTW: The iPhone game even seems to look better. I think I`ll check out the PC and iPhone versions...

This game isn't too bad. It's just a revamped version of NFS Nitro, which was a pretty fun game too. Honestly it's not bad for a Wii racer... and I don't mind the graphic style at all.

Does this have split-screen multiplayer? does it allow split-screen multiplayer online? I was really bummed Goldeneye didn't have the latter! although understandable I guess. No more Live for me on my 360, so...heh

maybe this is a dumb question but why do people still care if a release is Pal or NTSC? I thought everyone could pretty much always play either by now..? I've got a PAL wii but I always grab the NTSC releases and play em via cfg USBloader no worries..

Because some of us would never Softmod the Wii.
Me for example, I have two Wii's one with Wiikey II and for the other one WODE, so just Modchips.

I would never like to Softmod, to many different cios and ios and bricks, just putting DVD (Wiikey II) or Harddisc/SD Card (WODE) and play, thats what I want and thats why I care for a Pal release.

bricks? ios's?

c'mon, guy, if you knew anything at all about the wii you would know that this is not true at all. unless you are installing out of region wads or themes, you have nothing to worry about. and the ios's can be taken care of in 10 minutes time or less with pimp my wii, or just by knowing what you are doing.

in fact, modchips and playing from disc, is a bad idea all together. you are very misinformed, friend... too bad... you are missing out on amazing homebrew like wiiflow and wiimc, not including the emulators... such a shame...

EDIT:

you realize with a modded wii it becomes region-free, right? therefore a PAL release means nothing... it will work exactly the same except you will most likely have missing content with the PAL release compared to an NTSC release... you are just digging yourself a deeper hole with these inconsistencies...

sorry sir, but you're an idiot and really not informed.

1. Many people bricked their Wii without installing out of Region updates or whatever.
2. What is better on a Softmod? I can play from HardDisc, SD and DVD Wii and Gamecube Games with my WODE Modchip( yeaa...I have Coverflow with my Wode too, if you see this as an enhancement of your Gaming experience.).
3. Which missing Content on a PAL release do you mean?

In my Opinion Modchips, at least such as WODE are not obsolete, I don't have the Time and want to update my Cios Ios or whatever for every second Game.
Plug and Play, thats why I am using a Modchip.

Between, I think you're not in the Position to question my decisions and yout ake this thing a bit to personal and serious, calm down.

Why so bitter? Did you brick a Wii in the past?

No never, but Forums world wide are full with idiots which did or ask how a specific game works and which ios they need to install etc.

I never "bricked" anything, I even flash my Xbox360 from time to time without any problems, which is a bit more complicated than installing HBC

Another piss-poor racer. Rough as guts graphically, menu clunky, soundtrack woeful and the handling is shitty as hell too. For the price of this game at retail you could buy a second hand Xbox or PS2 and a copy of Burnout 2 or 3. If you're thinking of buying this game take that option, if you're downloading it put it on an HDD only as it's not even worth the price of a blank.

You should update the 360 to newest dash before RGHing it yes. But not a big deal if you don't, you can install new dash/avatar updates after. It's just easier to do it auto online before, instead manual offline after.

@BigOnYa I wanted to ask you about your experience with seeing south park. Most of the people a bit younger like my younger brother and cousins that are a few younger than me that saw kids found south park funny because of the curse words, kids at school, that seemed like liking the show on a very basic level.

I could not quite have a in depth discussion of the show.

How was it for you? As an adult. What did you find the most interesting part about it. Did you relate to the parents of the kids and their situations. Was it satires, the commentary on society. The references on celebrities' and pop culture.

I remember seeing the very first episode back in the day, and have watched every episode since. I used to set my VCR to record them even, shows how long ago.
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
I just like any comedies really, and cartoons have always been a favorite of mine. Family guy, American Dad, Futurama, Cleveland Show, Simpsons - I like them all.

South Park is great cause they always touch on relavent issues going on today, and make something funny out of it.

  • S @ salazarcosplay:
@BigOnYa were you always up to date on the current events and issues of the time or were there issues that you first found out thru south park
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Most of the time yea I knew, I watch and read the news regularly, but sometimes the Hollywood BS stuff, like concerning actors slip by me. I don't follow most Hollywood BS (example: the Kardasians)

  • S @ salazarcosplay:
@BigOnYa there were relevant issues before south park was made, that's why i think a south park prequel/spinoff would be great. Randy and his friends in their child hood

  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Yea, like them running in high school together, getting into stuff, and how they got hitched and had kids. And how the town of South Park was back then compared to now. That would be cool to see.
  • BakerMan @ BakerMan:
    yeah
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
@salazarcosplay if they made a prequel, it would still be about current issues, cause it doesn't make sense to make it about stuff that happened 30 years ago that nobody cares about anymore
