I didn't mention PC gaming because there's no metion of it in the OP.
I'm not much of a PC gamer myself though
"PC" gaming typically means high-end graphics and most of the time FPSs (what's it's best for IMHO)
The pros are games are pretty cheap and graphics are really good
Negative are games won't always work for Example you go to the shop and but COD with "PS3" on the box it WILL work on your PS3 but say you buy COD from steam you may need an extra ram stick a better graphics card etc to run it.
Gameplay for Wii wise, Redsteel, Zelda, Kirby blah blah blah. Also family game =/= crap game play most have single player parts which are often miles ahead of the already good multiplayer.
Quite a lot of people didn't give motion control and touchscreens a chance.
