Gaming Who Will Be Your Pokemon D/P Starter?

I really want to hack the game and start with a bulbasaur.. was my favourite when I was a pokemon fan.. and i guess it still is

i wonder if it is actually hackable, because i remember in Ruby i did that , of course it was on an emulator but i think the capabilities should be the same. For some odd reason nintendo stored the sprite pictures of all its pokemon in the game even if they're not legit-ly on the pokedex... so i just used a wild pokemon code and caught a mew as my starter =\

maybe diamond/pearl have this too... but if they do, we might start seeing Mewtwo's on wifibattles

Sidenote: x.x anyways uhh does anybody know why the
"Estimate for when Pearl/Diamond will be dumped? " and
"Leaking POkemon ANytime soon" topics got closed? =\ i need to find out when they dump the game!!!!

You know that trick you can do with every Pokemon series? Get two carts, start two new games. Catch a bunch of Pidgey/Hoothoot/etc. on one game, and keep restarting the other game to trade over all the starters?

Well my friends weren't above that last generation, and they ALL want Piplup, so I doubt anyone will raise an eyebrow if I use two flash carts to get Turtwig and Chimchar

I picked Turtwig in the Japanese version, and having Chimchar is like choosing Blaziken all over again, so I'm going with Piplup this time.

the final evolution of turtwig would be cool if it didnt have the tree..
because im guessing if u use him, u'd have to see the tree everytime you use him (back view).. that would annoy the hell out of me

I'm gonna choose the same as i did in the japanese version, piplup, although the name couldn't have sucked more.

i dont get it, does nintendo HAVE to introduce a new pokemon set every single game? why couldnt they just keep the original 3 starters (Bulbasaur, Charmander, Squirtle) with the 150pkmon and just have a new adventure in a new map?
