ROM Hack Which of these patches do I get?

I'm looking for a patch for Battle and Get! Pokemon Typing DS and I found two different ones. Which one do I get?

This is said to be a bypass to the keyboard synching.
This is said to combat the black screen problem, but earlier in the post it was in (I found this on DS-Scene), it said a black screen also came with the keyboard synching message. In short, I have no clue what this fixes in the game.

Also, would I need any other patches? Could I even use two patches on the same ROM?
