I don't know if the original xci is still floating around, but already posted that both nsps I downloaded (one of which was the one that said leaked but modified in the title with the other being in a dark place) are identical as I hex compared them. the xci on the dark place is just a converted nsp. I confirmed that too, so I just kept the xci I made.

Just a thought from yours truly: The version released sounds like a fake. I would not download it as it could break your Switch. If you want to dump the cartridge yourself or mess with a digital copy, I suggest waiting until the game is officially launched, then you can get a legal copy of the game which you can then do whatever you wish with it, for your own personal means. Just be aware, as Costello has already pointed out, that unofficial modifications can and will break your Switch if you're not careful.

nsc builder says it's been modified but nx info says that it's safe. afaik, it (nx info) only checks file permissions, not the whole file for tampering. there's a certain block that includes full permissions, which I think some homebrew have, which could throw a false positive. games should never have them though.
I have the game preloaded, so I won't update and check the game when it's released. I may be forced to update to download the ticket (not sure). the new update may be what fixes mario 64. I'll test it for you guys since I'm legit all the way.
Freezing issue can't be solved at the moment. Only thing that works is playing Mario 64, Save progress, restart switch fully and then you can play another game if needed. For some reason Mario 64 crashes also when exiting to Horizon and then start a whole other game like minecraft. It also crashes in black screen. The emulator where in Mario 64 works is doing something weird. Maybe it's because it's an XCI converted to NSP. I think the official Eshop NSP will work properly.
you can't even play these games properly without crashing so good luck getting an emu!

Ah yes, blame the crashing issues caused by CFW on the game itself that works just fine on stock, great idea.
Went ahead and ported over the 60fps gecko code for Sunshine so it works with the Switch version:

What do I have to do to activate the 60fps in sunshine? And is this also possible for Mario64?
Another question: Does the game run in double speed after activating 60fps?

I went today and looked at a motorcycle someone was selling. I get there and the battery on it was dead, so the guy grabbed a battery charger and hooked it up. He plugged it into the wall, and the motorcycle sparked and started smoking. Come to find out the bike uses a 6 volt battery and the guy had the charger set to 12v. I said sorry to the dude and walked away. I felt bad for him tho.
