If anyone has any idea on what this car from Burnout Paradise is based on please tell me! I want to know its real name (not the name they give it in the game).

Yup, I'm pretty sure its a Ford GT. I ran a google image search and the results look strikingly familiar to the image you provided.

    Mmmm...Mirage & Hot Rod.

The Ford dealership up by my apartment has one of these, gleaming in the front window like some forbidden candy. I want to lick it.

    left of the pond
they're beautiful vehicles (winning at le mans 3 straight years in a row in the late 60's).

ford brought back the style around 3 years ago in the GT, however they're pretty pricey (they retail at around 150,000usd but most end up selling for more than that due to the limited number produced).

    edit:
the ones from the 1960's had right-hand steering (since they were created to race at le mans), but the newer ones are all left-hand.

    Over there.
A Ford GT has a different hood, not two small air scoops on each side but more of a big wide indented air scoop. But still, that's a damn nice car.

/you should also get lots of money too, plus wait a longz time.
