Hacking What's the difference between a hard and soft mod?

Solution
A hard mod involves a modification of hardware, such as soldering a chip onto the console. A softmod only alters software, like system files (Wii IOSes).

softmoding is if you hack your system only with softwares so it can read burned games...
hardmoding is if you build in a chip in your system so it can read burned games
