Bah, as expected, 2 weeks of grief and I'm still no further with Sneek, just tried the latest sneek version 0.1 beta 3, did everything to the letter, tried with various SD cards of brand and size, also tried USB sticks ,,, nothing
just left with a headache & a Wii that takes about 3 minutes to boot, SD/USB nand just doesn't work for me ,,, can't see what the hype is with sneek, just doesn't seem to be a stable program in my eyes.
Most folk I've asked about sneek tell me to run it with barebones setup just to get it working at a decent speed ,,,, but what's the point in that, surely the whole idea of sneek is to push past the limited nand space available of the wii, yet if everyone is running it with barebones nothing installed, then ummm why not just use the Wii's internal Nand.
My Nand only have 300 blocks left and it runs v fast.
I can see how clever the idea is with Sneek and potentially what it can acheive, and will no doubt improve over time, but I just don't see it as a workable solution to the limited Wii nand space at this time.
So I'm back on the pursuit of hopefully being heard by one of the genius coders out there that could perhaps add a bit of code to try my copy savegame idea, I kno I sound like a broken record but there surely must be others in the same boat as me.
What with the recent introduction of USB Loaders & many people using HDD's to run games, there must be many others with nand space issues for savegames ,,,
Where do you think would be the best place to start, perhaps I could try the USB Loader forums, or does anyone have any contacts that could forward my idea ??
