PS1/2 What to do about a water damaged ps2 slim

what should i do my warranty is gone and so yea what do i do it is still pretty fun but i do not no what to do i do not know the serial# it is not visible

just let it dry for about a week and use hair dryer on it

this should work this is how i did mine after it went though dishwasher

Well maybe he's poor and doesn't have plates, and he won the PS2 in like a raffle or something, and he just has to eat his food off of whatever is available, and then after eating he wanted to clean his PS2 so he put it in the dishwasher.

Don't power it up, Get a hairdryer and carefully take apart the set, pull the optical block aside and dry the mainboard and casing as much as you can, don't let the dryer linger though cause you might over heat a component, after you got as much as you can, let it dry out for a day or two, put it back together, make sure the lens is cleaned up on the optics. Give it a shot, I've fixed alot of things over the years just fine with a hairdryer/compressed air, after needing to power wash boards of corrosive chemicals (Ethelyn Glycol, pop, cat piss, etc...)

i guess he probably did power it up already, so if u did power it up already well then theres nothing you can do pal
