Hacking Well I'm an idiot, a little help please!

Alright, I bought a new DSi that came with an acekard 2i off amazon marketplace, while my sd card was in the mail I just messed around on the DSi and in my ignorance updated the firmware to 1.4U because I didn't know any better. Basically I didn't do enough research until it was to late.. so now I'm stuck with a brand new DSi at 1.4U and an acekard I cant use. I've read if you have a DS lite or phat you can fix it.. but I don't... and I don't know anyone who does. Also I was following this guide (http://www.dsifanboy.com/showthread.php?t=3239) and went as far as to plug it in.. then it gave me an error when I clicked the acekard icon, did I brick my acekard? :/

Is there anything I can do? Or do I have to wait until acekard releases an official update, and even then I don't know if my acekard is bricked or w/e. If there's nothing I can do (so far from google doesn't look like it) is there a card that I can buy that will work with an already updated 1.4U DSi?

When I was shopping for a CycloDS there was one website that offered to update my card for a fee. Unfortunately I don't remember the name of the store, hopefully someone else knows it. Maybe an M3i Zero would be better for you since you can update it without having to plug it into a DS/DSi. I bought one for a relative and I set it up for him and the GUI is really sleek with Sakura and it seems the M3 team is rolling out updates the quickest.

IMHO I would get an M3i for a DSi. I have owned an Acekard 2.1

Come on dude, there must be SOMEONE SOMEWHERE close to you, who can borrow you a DS or DS Lite for 1 minute ...

I bought mine of dealextreme. You update it by putting the software on your microsd card, put it in your m3i and then use a USB cable to plug it into your computer . No DS/DSI required.

Be warned DX shipping takes 1 to 2 weeks. If you live in the US you can buy one of realhotstuff to get it quicker but it costs more.
