Am I the only one that thinks that this a pretty bad launch day for a console. Of course no Nintendo titles, some of the games are even shovelware.
Yes I am getting one tomorrow but no games because they are B+ at best.

yeah, I think so too
I pre order the 3ds thinking there was gonna be resident evil, dead or alive, splinter cell, etc
but as it got closer to the release date those games got delayed

I'll probably just grab samurai warrior when I pick up my 3DS on sunday

Are you suggesting there is only shovelware for Nintendo consoles?
No I'm saying that if games like Bust-a-Move Universe, Pro Evolution Soccer 3DS, Combat of Giants: Dinosaurs 3D. are any sign of the future of the 3DS then it seems like the DS all over again.

That's the perception it seems.
Every other platform holder has GREAT GAMES, Nintendo has great games and 90% shovelware.

I disagree, and think people need to chill the balls out and play what they think is fun and shut up about it.

I have Pilot Wings.
Poor game.
No multi-player, local or wifi
No friends Mii in the game
Only 6 vehicles
Only a island, a very little island
No own playlist in the game
They made it only for the easy money.

Wasn't Cave Story 3D supposed to be a launch title?

Nope. Never was.

Outside of all the launch titles, the only things that look decent are SSFIV, Samurai Warriors Chronicles, and Rayman 3D. Even then, SSFIV is better played on a console, SW: C is pretty niche to Samurai/Dynasty Warriors fans, and Rayman is just a remake. Ghost Recon: Shadow Wars is coming of as kind of the black horse of the launch line-up, netting some decent reviews, but I've got a PSP full of strategy and SRPGs. I don't need another.

I didn't even consider them shovelware.

I agree with you Vamp, well, except for Dinosaurs; I'm pretty sure that's shovelware.

OK, you got me on that one, but you got to admit that it is a good concept.

I wonder how hard the making and programming was.

This has been known for a long time. I have no idea what Nintendo was thinking, and I'm sure that the weak launch list will hurt reviews of the system.

Precisely why I didn't get a launch 3DS. I'm waiting on either Ocarina of Time or Mercenaries 3D, whichever comes out first.

No weaker than the DS line up, and that went on to become the best console of its generation. Also, the term 'shovelware' has become meaningless. Pro Evo? An old school Taito series like Bust a Move? Do you even know what the word means?

This, this, and this. It also seems that kids these days are forgetful of anything that happened before last year.

Super Mario 64 DS alone held my interest for over 4 months.
A good first party game, remake or not, is all I ask for.
