I feel like that is almost the ultimate goal, while it still sucks a little, surely part of the goal is to show their was interest in the title.

Why will they? it only released in Japan, the only reason "more people" would have access to it on 3DS is piracy... how many people actually go out of there way to import titles, its a sad fact since no translation can deem piracy nor should they but 90% in this thread probably just obtained it online.

I've just finished Part 1 and wanted to express my thanks again. It felt so well translated, I never would have thought it might be a translation to begin with!

Though I still personally hope you will continue, I can understand if you won't. As for me, I will buy Ace Attorney Chronicles, no matter what happens, but I just love the 3DS graphics and the double screen feature.

Any updates on the progress of DGS2's fan translation? From the 2023 blog post on Scarlet Study, you guys were taking volunteers to get G2-4 and G2-5 across the finish line.

Neither Dai Gyakuten Saiban game got an English release on the 3DS. Capcom localised both for Chronicles in 2021 and never brought it back to the handheld.

senyarom's patch (https://github.com/senyarom/tgaa2-en-patch) put the official script on the Japanese 3DS builds, thanks again for the base of this. Theirs builds on Scarlet Study-Fan Translators International in turn, who did the first playable English 3DS builds and the font and rendering work underneath all of it. I did the rest: Capcom's English voices, the DLC (which no English release ever covered), and their own logos and...

I did this myself with the official Capcom scripts, not sure you are looking for something like this.
