Yeah... I'm aware that I need HBC 1.0.5 and in fact it's already installed in my wii. Widescreen nd all, beautiful. I just want to make sure that when I update the SM to 4.2 it won't f*ck up my boot2 so I cn keep using BootMii as boot2 rather than IOS. Also I use USB Loader GX so I gather I should stick to waninkoko's SM?King Of Chaos said:Yes, I already ran HBC 1.0.5 first.
If you're using an older HBC then System Menu 4.2 WILL detect and remove it on boot. Hence why you need to update HBC first to save it.
So since I used the new HackMii installer already, does that mean I can just run Wanin's updater and I'm good? Or do I have to run the Hackmii installer again after and worry about IOSs, DVDX, etc.?King Of Chaos said:Waninkoko's Firmware Updater 4.2 doesn't update boot2 so it's safe.
That's all I wanted to know! Thanks, man!!!King Of Chaos said:Waninkoko's Firmware Updater 4.2 doesn't update boot2 so it's safe.
Yep, you should be fine.jservs7 said:So since I used the new HackMii installer already, does that mean I can just run Wanin's updater and I'm good?
