I use VBA-M for its improved capability and features, but the save handling is somewhat annoying. Once I load up a GB, GBC, or GBA game/ROM, it'll say I have no .sav file extension within the directory. This could obviously be fixed, but it's a small hassle to always go to: Options -> Game Boy Advance -> Configure -> Save Type; and the fact that I have to reset the game so it knows the battery file is there. Since almost all games for the Game Boy line use different save types and file sizes, I'll [have to go to the settings and change it manually. I know the original VBA emulator had an option to auto-detect them, but it seems like VBA-M doesn't..Of course, if there's no way for this to be fixed, I'll have to deal with it.
