Hey, i want to compile the Homebrew Channel and send me this error:
I put /make in wiipax directory.
I have Windows 7, 32 Bits an i have installed DevkitPro and zlib, libpng, mxml and freetype

From the picture it looks like a PC software, for which you don't have a compiler; try installing TDM-GCC, adding it to path, and restarting MSys and the build?

Uh, by running the installer? It's quite similiar to DevKitPro itself, despite being a completely unrelated project
Ok, now i installed sucessifuly, but now i get this error:

The system menu puts on the black bars and then HBC takes them away again. The title ID no longer matters because HBC will force the screen mode to whatever is correct (4:3 or 16:9 depending on system config).
I'm confused - if the title ID no longer matters for the widescreen fix, why was it changed from LULZ to OHBC when it was open sourced? Especially since some apps appear to have hardcoded the old title ID.

Because Open HomeBrew Channel?
Yeah I already guessed what the acronym stood for, but my question was why bother changing the HBC title ID at all?

Changing the HBC title ID causes a number of apps (Nintendont, Priiloader) to be unable to load the new HBC, and most of those apps are unlikely to receive an update to fix this.

The point is that this version wouldn't mess with those apps by not being used.
NINTENDONT can be easily updated to return to OHBC, @FIX94 can do that. Priiloader got an update a few months ago from DacoTaco, so go ask him I guess.
My issue was that BootMii wont launch the HBC, something @marcan_troll and co. would have to fix :3

nintendont uses whatever reset stub was given to it on startup to return to, so if you boot nintendont via OHBC it'll also return to that. it only uses a hardcoded id if you launch it via something like a forwarder since those dont normally give over any reset stub.

So that you can have both installed? ;)

Eh, bad design, especially since HBC isn't the only possible launcher and therefore not necessarily the user's favorite

Can someone make this gamepad compatible? Thanks :)
AFAIK it's already compatible with the new classic controllers? Or is gamepad>CC emulation different again? (in which case libogc should first be updated appropriately, then HBC "simply" recompiled)

That is what I was thinking, but people said its still not compatible xD

For the people who can boot channels using patched wii vc titles, I just added libwiidrc to the hbc and gamepad controls seem to work just fine in it.
https://github.com/FIX94/hbc/releases
Note that of course, any app you start from it also needs to have support for that or else its rather useless.
You can just install it on vwii as normal and boot it using my wii vc channel booter.
Also when used from wii vc, note that after you started an app and you then exit from it, it will reboot to the wiiu menu rather than the HBC simply because of how wii vc works.

Thanks FIX94 :) Does this new version also support the Wii U Pro Controller?

@Xdqwerty No you heard wrong, and don't believe till you experience yourself. Fallout 4 is one of my favorite games of all time. Yes it had issues early on, esp with older hardware like the xbox1, but it is awesome, esp now being 4k on Series S/X or PS5

@BigOnYa, Then i think people were talking about fallout 76

    that one was buggy too
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Yea you right there, fallout 76 was a letdown, but it not that bad now, they have fixed slot of issues they had at launch. Biggest issue with Fallout 76 is its a pay to advance further type of game, which sucks
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
