So I purchased a off brand chinese gamecube adapter for Wii U and from what I can see it seems to work or at least is recognized on my computer, however I purchased so that I could use gamecube controllers with nintendont. I see videos in which it does work but they use the back usb ports for the adapter, I cannot because I use the back to load my gamecube games off my external hard drive i have setup. Is there any other way to connect the adapter besides the front usb ports as i have tried and get no results.

Or, I also heard that if you use flash memory, it can act as more "RAM" at least windows tell me when I stick a flash drive into it. -
