I recently got an Acekard 2i and loaded it up with Akaio 1.5. I set up the wifi connections and updated everything to the newest release. The wifi plugin and the Ak2 loader went fine and yet the Usercheat.dat just won't update. It won't even connect. I know my wifi works because I can play roms using wifi and got everything else updated. Am I doing something wrong or leaving something out?

Any help or suggestions would be much appreciated.

Well I just manually update the file without the wifi. Seeing as to how that dates back to 10/27 it's not really going to be an issue until the newest one is released.

I guess the problem is on their end.

Yeah I saw the fix. It seems me and him almost posted at the same time. lol Hopefully they won't change the setup anymore and they get all the akaio files hosted on their own site. It's lame when they change shit without letting people know beforehand. Best to just eliminate the middle man.

I don't have a wii u anymore to test it myself, but if homebrews are not visible on the wii u menu I think you can press L + R + minus to open the plugin menu, there should be an option called "homebrews on wii u menu" or something similar
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:
    nope
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:
    it is L+dpad down+ select

  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
@Xdqwerty you can use a "spawner" function on any object.

  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Or when your player dies, you can say in code, if enemy exists, do nothing, but if enemy does not exist, then create enemy at certain spot. (This would be a pain tho for lots of emeies)

Easiest, simple way would be just restart scene, but player would restart from beginning.
