i believe so. @XFlak do you agree?
Installed CIOSes patched as per your link and all working perfectly. Wii games saving to emuNAND on hidden HDD all fine. GC via Nintendont also has working saves (well, as working as I ever get them to be). Tested on both original Wii and WiiU vWii.

Thanks so much for your help, @fledge68 , @blackb0x (looks like nothing for you to do, was CIOS), and @XFlak (modded FAT.app probably is a worthy addition to ModMii, as you say).

@hadi aulia You're using the correct cIOS for the game, but I don't know enough about the game and how you're supposed to configure it for vWii.

I was under the impression that you'd install the DLC WADs to your NAND and then the game would use them, but I guess you might need to setup neek/sneek?

Also my vwii cant detect my hdd if i use default ios 58, if i switch to ios 249(57) it detect my hdd
Are you using my very latest version? Since my build will briefly boot with IOS 58 to read your config file and then you're reloaded to whatever cIOS is selected in your settings menu (249 by default).

I'm in the same boat as XFlak, since I didn't know about that patch. So I learned something new today and I'm happy to know that the patch still works correctly.

All with the past, and with the coming holidays! The version is installed modv7 and what settings I have not tried, when you start the gamecube games everything works fine. But when you press the button home, it does not go anywhere, it just freezes. If you run from Nintendont, then everything is ok. Is that so with me? Or everyone? In the loader settings, you should go to homebrew.

Can't find if it's already reported, but the channel view doesn't work with emunand channels enabled. I can enable and use Wii, GC and nand sources, but my vwii hangs as soon as emunand channels are enabled. The simple list view does work as expected with emunand enabled and everything. Perhaps it's a small bug at the banner cache creation stage.

Edit: a workaround is moving the emunand to the root folder. It seems related to the path length. The banners are properly created now.

@contra1980 I can press the home button on a classic controller and the start button on a GC controller and both work correctly. So do you have any custom Nintendont settings set in the loader?

@ber71 So a standard path like usb1:/nands/01 works, but something much longer doesn't? And weirdly it only happens on that one screen for you.

Just out of interest, what did your path look like prior to you changing it?

I'm afraid I'm not the only one. This post put me on track about what's happening.
https://gbatemp.net/threads/vc-and-wiiware-missing-banners.429820/#post-6422029

My emunand is shared between wiiflow and ulgx, with the default path for wiiflow,
usb1:/vwiinands/default/
Which doesn't work as is, from the ulgx side. When moved to usb1:/default/, banner extraction isn't a problem anymore.

No, the settings are all by default. Nintendont's latest version. Only in the Usb loader is the setting for the output to the homebrew. I'm using the wii classic controller pro original. So it's just me. I will try to look for the reason. Thanks! And sorry for the English, I'm through a translator)

I can't get the app to initialize my USB. I have tried every solution I found on GBATemp, reddit, YouTube videos and still my USB drive is not identfied by the console.

When I open USB loader GX I can go to the menu and when I mount my dvd and get the option to install it still gives me "USB initializing error"

What kind of HDD are you using? Is it a small thumb drive?

Confirm the HDD is formatted as MBR (not GPT) and is 100% FAT32 (i.e. just 1 partition). If this fails, you can try formatting the drive as WBFS instead of fat32 using wii backup manager. While FAT32 is preferred, compatibility for some hdd's is improved when formatted as WBFS (but all the HDD will be able to store is Wii games, and the drive will not be detected normally by Windows, you will have to use tools like Wii Backup Manager to read\write to it, windows may prompt you to format your wbfs partition whenever it's inserted into your PC, you will have to say No each time)

It is an Imation USB 2.0 thumb drive (64GB) - formatted using minitool partition wizard and shows as MBR / FAT32, partition ID is 0Xb when I change it to 0xc it doesn't change. Yes, it is 1 partition only.

Sorry forgot to mention that. I installed WBFS manager 4.0 and tried formatting it, I got this message "An error ocurred while attempting to format the drive"

Update:
It formatted now, will proceed.

I still suggest you use Wii backup manager, but WBFS manager should in theory still work OK.

So after I formatted it in WBFS the thumb drive became unreadable and unidentified. I could still see it in minitool partition as an unallocated disk.

I decided to give it a try and format it there again to FAT32 with 0xc, and somehow it worked this time and changed to 0xc. I plugged it in and I can see it now in USB loader GX.

I guess for anyone else who has his drive not working to format it in WBFS before formatting it again into FAT32 oxc again.

Thanks for your help, wouldn't have tried WBFS without your help.

I personally stopped using WBFS formatted drives after one got corrupted and WBFS Manager kept being annoying to work with.

Never had issues after going FAT32, but if that works for someone else it's great to hear.
