Hacking USB Loader GX

I have Problem on my HD 500GB 2 Partition ( WBFS is set Primary & FAT32 it set Logicy )

I don't know about where you are, but where I come from, you get to set it either primary OR logical. I don't know what logicy is. Primary and active is what you want. If logicy is the same as active then you did good. Again. this was in the readmii file. Read it. It is smarter than the lot of you.

Boot-Strategy:
- is "argv[0]" set, then the boot-device extracted from the argv.
- if no meaningful boot device found, then looking for "boot.dol"/"boot.elf" in "apps/usbloader_gx/"
first on "SD:/" and then on "USB:/".
When found, than use this Device. Otherwise use the default "SD:"
- Set all default-Paths on this Device
- Set the Path for config-Folder, GXGlobal.cfg, GXGameSettings.cfg
and GXGameFavorites.cfg on this Device (e.g. USB:/config and so on)

little question
why the alt.dol is with name it the 6 digit game and not 4 ? (like ultimate)

Because this is not ultimate usb loader and we decided to make it 6 digits. Seriously, is it so hard to type in 6 digits on your keyboard?

Have you read any of the help pages?

the default setting at the latest revision is that the program is unlocked. It is only locked if you have set a password.

The old default pass was ab121b

At the config folder there is a global something file. Open it with notepad and you will find your password there (if you have set any)

Probably the loader was already unlocked and you just set it locked with ab121b
or
You had changed the password and you forgot about it.

If you can't figure the password by opening the global file, just delete it then (all the global settings will go back to default values) and the loader will be unlocked.

If you can't figure the password by opening the global file, just delete it then (all the global settings will go back to default values) and the loader will be unlocked.

Deleting ALL the config files and letting the program remake them is a good troubleshooting tip. So many of us were users from the 1.0 release and before.

I made a ugly script for anyone who wants to make a mirror of the applications.

Put svncron.sh and ftp.py in the SVN root directory of the application.
ftp.py is optional and is for uploading to FTP.

Oh, and the FTP script HAS to be called ftp.py (unless you edit the svncron script).
You also have to edit the FTP script if you want it to work.

Make a cron script that runs the svncron.sh script.
Put the cron script in /etc/cron.hourly/ or whatever.

You could add some stuff to it like renaming the ELF and DOL to the revision number or at least uploading the revision number, too.

And before anyone asks, yes, this is Linux.

I didn't test it (felt no need to) so... yeah...
I might pretty it up and use it myself sometime.

This might be a dumb request on my behalf (or just a severely anal one), but I wanted to know if there was something that can be implemented either with a titles.txt file or the game files themselves in order to put the game list in alphabetical order while ignoring the word THE in the beginning of any title.

That way if a game with a title that starts with the word THE (ie THE Conduit), it would show up in order under C and not T.

Just putting that out there in the useless department.

I've tried different revision, different loaders (forwarder, HBC and imbeded channel) but no matter what I do, it gives me a code dump on boot.
