Okay, i have a quick question. You know how there are different games with different patches right? (Kingdom hearts, spirit tracks) I was wondering if there was just one universal patch that can patch all of the roms to work with an R4.

no, not a flashcart

an actual patch that works for all roms

I was just kidding.

There is no such patch, since different games may have different forms of anti-piracy.

Plus, even if there were one, it can't be future-proof so it would be rendered useless every time a new game with AP came out. Therefore, you'd still have to constantly update such a patch.

doesn't each new version of AKAIO try to come with as many patches for popular games as it can?

Look at the DSTT. The original producers/programmers were on top of their firmware. New game, new update. Then they stopped. Outside 3rd party firmware (YSmenu) stepped in and helped update the firmware. Now DSTT has YSmenu listed on their site.
