Hello everyone. I decided to put together a small set of ROM hacks that enables the ability for your entire Pokemon party to obtain battle experience, similar to the experience share mechanics of modern Pokemon games. This wasn't exactly something I ever planned to create, considering I don't like this forced mechanic at all. However, the primary reason has to do with the relatively frequent requests by other users for this through cheats. Personally, I don't find this very practical as a cheat for a few reasons, if anything, I consider this as a sort of "quality of life" ROM hack tweak. I figured me making something like this would be a decent way to meet those interested half way.

Note(s):
- These ROM hacks are not intended to provide modern equivalent mechanics in their fullest form. Gaining experience is still restricted to Pokemon battles and or leaving your Pokemon at the daycare. If you expected anything more than this, then these ROM hacks are not for you.
- Keep in mind that since experience is being split down to all of your party Pokemon, the amount of experience you gain won't equate to the amount(s) you would normally get for individual participating Pokemon.

v1.0.0 - March 18, 2026

- Initial release.

Though I've grown out of being spoiled with this kinda mechanic, i know it can be a barrier of entry for more casual fans occasionally, so thank you for making this, might get more people to play some legitimately good Pokemon games like Platinum!

Not targeting anyone specifically with this. I'll be brutally honest though. The idea of not trying older titles out, simply because they lack a mechanical change from a much more modern version of the same franchise, seems like a lousy, unstable, point to be making. I wouldn't even consider this a genuine barrier with the games themselves. I've seen enough people talk negatively about the older games just because they lack this change alone. It's not even about being objective, it's just spoiled behavior talking. The part that rubs me the wrong way isn't so much the mechanic itself (I chose my words carefully in my post), it's the idea that it's a forcefully enabled function, with no means to disable it. The sixth and seventh generation did right by having it as a key item that can be enabled or disabled at will. WHY they did away with that, I don't know, but it certainly was a dumb decision in my opinion.

Admittedly, the original implementation of EXP gain was even worse. Players had to repetitiously swap into every battle, taking damage each time. Is your mon slower than its opponent? Then you'll take a second attack!
