Hi man, have been trying to
Hi man. Have a question, is it possible to patch the game without changing the icon.bin, so that the name of the game doesn't get edited. I think this is the reason Citra is not reading the fps ar codes. I don't want to be a nuisance, if you explain me or give me the tools to open the .cia file so I can put the original icon.bin back, would be really helpful. Thanks again for your amazing work.
I created a patch for you to use the translated CIA and insert the original icon.bin in it, but I didn't test it on 3ds

unzip the downloaded file and place the translated CIA "EX Troopers (USA by RD) .cia" in the same folder as "3.Apply Patch-Windows.BAT"
run "3.Apply Patch-Windows.BAT" and wait
will generate the "EX Troopers (ENG by RD - original icon) .cia" - test and let me know if it works

if it doesn't work, follow the full procedure. Download pack-unpack and unzip

place the original and translated CIA in the "3dsconv and decr -> Batch CIA 3DS Decryptor - cia2cci and 3ds2decrypted" folder
run "Batch CIA 3DS Decryptor.bat"
take the 2 CCI files and put them in the "PackEnglishV5.4" folder
install "SetupUS.exe" from this folder
open "HackingToolkit3DS.exe" and run the ME command, always with the option "N" for code.bin
then change JPN's "icon.bin" to USA in the "ExtractedExeFS" folder
in the USA folder, delete DecryptedExeFS.bin and move all other files and folders to the previous folder, the same as "HackingToolkit3DS.exe"
if closed, re-open "HackingToolkit3DS.exe" and use the CR option
name the CIA without extension and wait
