I believe most know about smart phones. Android, Windows, Apple. People want jailbreaks for IPhone, don't track Windows phones, and root/unlocked boot loaders for Android.
I can only speak for Android. Dan Rosenberg? DJRBliss? Example for where I am going. Droid Bionic updated, people lost root for various reasons. Dan said he was done with Motorola phones and root. Cracked bootloaders for current models first;-)
Some reached out and he said he would look. A thread was started and has been common practice; "Root bounty.". People pledged and gave money by choice. Users did this as incentive/ motivation. Samba server bug, use Linux to run, guided...bingo, root.
Anyway, is a "Home brew bounty" what is needed nowadays? See system, find vulnerability, how to launch a delivery seems to be pattern. Not rocket science in concept but variables/tools/road blocks/experience?
Is a bounty what is needed to "motivate" f0f? I recall warning about paying was a scam for Wii hack install. Still, anyone else think this is what they imply with tweets? Bored, lazy, etc? Not intending offense but wanted to share.
