I can't find the post now, but Deak Phreak from
index.php
did mention that to Oggzee and at first he siad it would be done, but way down on the list, then Deak Phreak said told Oggzee an easy way to do it, an XML or something (I can't remember) and Oggzee seemed al ot more receptive about adding it.

I got my first 3 themes done.

The first was Pirates for my wife. Download link http://www.mediafire.com/?zz2thbmjdzy

Yea I mentioned it and can provide the software makers an XML feed to pull in a list of the themes and they can store the xml and check against for theme updates. The USB Loader GX guys already have a theme downloader but it is parsing out my theme pages so I built an XML to make it easier. They are going to implement it into their loader and anyone else is welcome to as well, they just need to let me know and I can assist.

Thanks to everyone that is adding their themes to the site! It is growing rather quickly

xflak40 I will re-upload star wars theme asap. Or would it be better if I uploaded it as a torrent and I can put the mp3 in the download file?

can u post it onto megaupload or mediafire? And don't worry about the mp3's, as I have lots of star wars music already (any star wars junkie likely already does, lol)

thanks!

I'm having problems with not being able to use 3d covers. When I am in CFG Loader an hit the down button a couple times to change the view, it ends up freezing saying something along the lines of "invalid png image". I've seen a few people with this problem but no solutions.

thats a problem with the cover images you have, they might have been corrupted somehow

QUOTE(uberbdon @ Jan 4 2010, 05:27 PM) what path do you need the 3d covers in? mine are in sd:/usb-loader/covers/3d is that right?

any location you want on the sd AS LONG as you set the correct directories in the config.txt and make sure the config.txt is in the same folder as cfg's boot.dol

these have nothing to do with theme and should of been asked it the CFG's main thread

I had the same problem, i thought it was my HDD, i even went and bought a new one, and same thing was happening,
i finnaly found why it was doing it on 3d covers (was working great till i went to the 3d cove view then it would freeze,)
i found that just one if my covers (full were corrupted) just connect it to your computer and look at each cover carefully and make sure it was all there, if you find that some of the cover just cuts off to black thene just delete that one and redownload the cover. my problem was locared in Full, but could also be 3d or other, but just have a look at the covers,

Hope i helped, worked for me

Can someone help me understand how to do this correctly. I see that most people have background= and wbackground= an image with an overlay on top of it, and then they have bg_gui.png and a bg_gui_wide.png. I can use the configurator tool to make overlays and such, but I do not understand how to "stretch" or "compress" an image and get the overlays on the correct spot. It doesn't seem to expand anything in configurator for wide and everything seems to have to be 640 X 480.

I have an image that is originally 1024 x 768. If I open it with any of the configurator wizards it converts it 640 x 480. How do I get a widescreen one to work correctly, especially if I move the coordinates around and such when I don't see any change in the tools?
