Hacking Themes for Configurable USB Loader

configurable usb loader theme

I love this theme, but it has the same problem in CoverFlow mode that the default themes have. There is a noticeable bar underneath the selected game that looks matte rather than shiny or reflective. You can under the games that are not selected as well; it looks like the games are all on little pedestals.

Is it related to the bg image? It seems like themes such as Carbonik 1 don't have that bar issue, and it looks like its due to a more uniform bg image, but I could be wrong.

where to find that Theme? (Carbonik 1) I love to see the config.txt or theme.txt
to correct the thing you discribe above

So basically, theme creation seems like a piece of cake!

Is all you have to do find an image you like and add the other boxes?

That's the easiest way I understood, if you get what I mean! It seems so simple!!!

Well majority looks the same only different background and there too much restrictions for making a real flashy theme that's a pity.

too much restrictions ??
you can reposition the cover, the buttons and the console.
example:

if you like the console centered the cover centered below and the buttons on both side that's possible.
or
mirror the whole layout.

Hi milcoi, have you been able to figure out the issue here? I really like the look of your theme; pretty, classy, non-distracting. If it's fixable, though, I'd love to have the update.

Just switched over the Configurable USB and I love it! Anybody have any Christmas themes in the works yet? I've downloaded Configurator but haven't had time to play with it yet ... been using all my spare time to dump my games to USB.

I want to give a shot at creating a theme, (for my wife first and if it turns out good I'll post it).

What screen resolution is best to create it at?

I read this a while back. Is this correct?

Make the canvas 853*480 pixels and create the image the way you want it. When you are done making it look good, scale to 640*480.

It's okay. I ended up finally getting some of your themes over at USB Loader GX (Official Theme Database). He's really gotta change the name of the site since it has more than USB Loader GX now.

I just made a Christmas Theme and put it up on Wii Theme Depository

It's the first one there now, but if it gets moved down because other are loaded,then just do search under Sacohen9665 and it will come up

We should ask Oggzee to create a way to download these themes from the loader like we do with the game covers (the lazy has spoken)...!!
