Quite frankly, you all are very quick to judge and it's rather upsetting. The testing forum is gone, so? You lot have IRC still, where even the CNET staff like to relax and pull a few funnies. Scene releases are still around, and the core community is still here. Sure, there's ONE intrusive advertisement. ONE. Come on, it's not even displayed everywhere. It's one page. You guys really need to calm down.

The CNET staff as people have done absolutely nothing wrong, and should not be treated like they have. You all should trust in people until the trust is broken, not trust people until trust is earned, at least in the case of a few people moderating a board. Its not like it's your life you're trusting them with, really. You wouldn't judge a new person like this, so why treat the CNET staff so badly? Regardless of their position, they're still new members, and as long time members of GBAtemp we should try our best to be nice with them and be warm and accepting, not cold and spiteful. Why would you go out of your way to show our latest partners that we're so mean? It's unfair. Please, lets try and get on, yeah?

Those CNET staff members you thought you saw in IRC were people poking fun, actually.

Happy 4/1/2008. Too bad it wasn't even remotely amusing...

Man even ripping off OMG Ponies verbatim from a few years back at /. would've made me at least grin for about 5m...
