I have the vita 1000 I know it
Was irrelevant but know because of all the home brew and hacking stuff going on, will we be finally able to utilize it? I always wondered what purpose did the port serve in the first place? Maybe it was a hidden display scaler who knows?

Is there a possibility?

Not without some modification to the main board. Katsu released what was supposed to be for an hdmi port that was supposedly originally planned. That was debunked.

Like I said not gonna happen until someone mods the main board and there is full blown cfw. Plus with half the user base having 2000 series it makes about as much sense as making a vpk to format the memory card...

No, it is not HDMI. Katsu is a giant troll; don't believe them.

According to Yifan, it's an EHCI (USB) host port with a custom port.
There's hidden methods to activate it that a dev could theoretically use, but nobody has to our knowledge.

Well in defense of my first post I did say that that supposed pinout was debunked. :P

According to research that port is like the usb port on vita TV, so if a Duals hock 3 can be connected to vita TV it can also work on this port if hacked.

Hmmmmm henkaku got confirmed as a kexploit this means that we might get usb drives on ps TV thoon TM maybe someone would make an adaptor for handheld too!

I don't have a wii u anymore to test it myself, but if homebrews are not visible on the wii u menu I think you can press L + R + minus to open the plugin menu, there should be an option called "homebrews on wii u menu" or something similar
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:

  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:

  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
@Xdqwerty you can use a "spawner" function on any object.
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Or when your player dies, you can say in code, if enemy exists, do nothing, but if enemy does not exist, then create enemy at certain spot. (This would be a pain tho for lots of emeies)
