Hi, after unlocking the PS Vita 1000 (Installing Henkaku Enzo with HENlo method) I have some doubts:

1.Once copied the contents of the memory card to the SD2vita using Vitashell, then using the YAMT plugin I set the SD2vita as UX0 and the memory card as Uma0. From this point on, can I remove the memory card and leave only the SD2vita?

2.While the memory card is inside the Vita, I have Vitashell and Vitadeploy, which are also in the SD2vita. When I run vitashell, which one is the one that starts? the one on the memory card or the one on the sd2vita. Can there be any conflict with these applications that are installed on both cards?

3.The HEnzo hack exactly where is it installed and where does it boot from when you turn on the console, in UX0(Sd2vita), in Uma0(memory card) or in UR0?

4.To leave the console completely clean, remove all traces of hack and restart the whole hacking process, is it enough to restore the system in the recovery menu and format the memory card?

5.Can I take out the SD2vita to play a physical cartridge? Can I simply go into settings/storage device/disable YAMT so that the memory card becomes UX0 and the game slot Uma0?

1) how big is your memory card? you can use the memory card as an extra backup to play ISO files for PSP games.

2) once SD2vita is used that becomes the brain of the vita.

3) to my knowledge Henkaku Enso is installed on the onboard storage of the vita.

4) I don't understand this. don't hack it then go around the hacking process again. you will end up with a brick sooner or later.

5) no. Once you use SD2vita it's best to keep it like that. i mean you can collect physical cartridges but use the digital version.

to keep it simple. hack it once don't mess about too much. until you get the hang of the hack.

I have followed the official guide to unlock the console and everything works perfectly. The reason why I ask these questions is because I want to understand the operation of the console to be able to face eventual problems in the future.

1.I have no problem with the memory card. The SD2Vita is big enough to have everything inside, emulators and so on. I ask because on some sites I have read that the official card must stay inside the PSVita because of the hack or the vitashell, and on other sites they say that you can do without it.

4.Suppose the hack is corrupted, or I make a mistake and delete necessary files or install corrupted data and the system stops working properly and I only see as a solution to start from the beginning. In this case, if I restore and format with Henzo installed, is there a risk of brick? I seem to remember that in the 3DS restoring to factory defaults could bricked the console in some cases. That's why I ask.

5.The same as point 4. I do not intend to remove the SD2vita, but what if the sandisk is corrupted, or the adapter is damaged and I am forced to remove it and put another completely clean? Obviously, I could check it by removing the sd2vita and see what happens, but I prefer not to take risks.

it's best to do backups anyway of your content. the fix is simple but a hassle if your microsd is corrupted of SD2Vita .

if you want to do a clean install. update to the latest official firmware. do factory reseet. then hack again. but at end of the day to save a little of GB of space it is pointless. just get a 512GB MicroSD card. but SD2Vita and your vita storage is different really. just don't mess about with the internal stuff.

always do a backup.

Hi Flame, just a real quick question - how do you back up a modded PS Vita? I've searched it with numerous keywords, but I always get backing up the Vita via CMA, no good!!!

Just copy your files from Vita. I remember a few files are essential, cant remember which ones from top of my head. You also need to enable copy write protected files on Windows.
