These are kiosk rather than dev.... although its an interesting ideal that nintendo would make a demo disc for kiosk and display the game on multiple kiosk consoles at E3..... lets hope a disc leaks and someone with kiosk can eventually gain kernel and dump it.

I'm not certain, but wouldn't it make sense to use kiosk consoles? CAT-I would be able to run demos, and wouldn't make sense to take DEV units in as they are more costly and from what I have seen they are visually different (in colour and shape) to retail consoles... the green cat-dev and the bulky black and white kits would confuse consumers into thinking its a new colour console or some rubbish... so people can see what looks like retail consoles running something new.

Taking retail consoles in to a showroom floor is just asking for trouble as all FW to date is exploitable (nintendo will undoubtedly know this)... and the "hacker" said it wasn't a retail console.... that's the only part of this tall-tale I believe.

I don't want to give away too much just because I don't know how much these people want out, but there is a plan in motion to actually dump the game today. I've heard this all through people on an IRC channel, and the people apparently helping to write tools to dump this thing are well known and respected in the community, so who knows.

To be serious, I'm not kinda sure if I should think that this a good a bad thing. Of course I would love to play the Demo rigth now, but this could heavily damage the future of the game :/

This is the game that will drive sales for the NX, but no, people just want to be selfish and have it leaked so they can play it early (and for free)

Yea and piracy is bad coz it makes gaemz devs poor :'(

No, seriously, not only it is a DEMO, but it's on the WII U. And I'm pretty sure the NX version will be vastly improved to use the NX's features, in terms of graphics, and probably gameplay, so people who want to play the game will buy the NX game.
And as of now, Wii U hacking is nowhere as noob friendly as 3DS hacking, for example. So it won't hurt sales *at all*. The only thing it might do is maybe spoil some elements from the final game.

It's not uncommon for demo versions of a game to have the entire contents of the game, just locked down. Considering it isn't a public demo, and there are so many restrictions to accessing it, it could very well have all of the contents.

i honestly would like to see this. but i personally think nintendo will be cheap and keep it to the wii u standard graphics but we will see
