Hacking The GEi

[Range-TE]

you see, i have the R4i Ultra at the moment (it was a bonus after purchasing my DSi), and it sucks ass.
i have 3 choices :
1. GEi (r4clone)
2. AK2i (i know yer all gonna answer get an AK2i)
3. Wait for MenuDO
AK2i is expensive, so GEi is more in my budget atm.

im here to ask whether the GEi is better than R4iUltra or not?
its the r4i ultra for god sakes, thats like the worst DSi Flash cart out there right?

Why will you wait for MenuDo? It doesn't have commercial ROM Loading. If you looks carefully the GE didn't update there firmware since October. Get the Acekard 2i isn't even expensive are you seriously that poor that you can't even buy it?

where do you but Range-TE? at G@me5p*t Indonesia? Because i HAVE the same experience. They gave me a FAKE R4i GOLD
i suggest you buy it on Mangga Dua better....

SSB clash spriter, I should say ak2i isnt expensive!(while if you have some money) but r4 is dead and I did buy an r4 clone and I am not happy with it(r4 sdhc)

r4 is good, but ak is better in competilety!

You should definitely go for the AK2i, R4 clones just aren't worth the hassle.

AK2i, I've bought it for 22€, and with AKAIO 1.5 is perfect. Plus the loader is updated frequently (the last update is for Zelda Spirit Track)

Acekard, Dealextreme will do free shipping and they are dirt cheap. I've got an r4i-sdhc (red box) and it is the worst card i have had. I also have the original R4, which is ok. The ak2i is updated frequently (within days after a new game comes out) and has one of the best firmwares for a flashcard.

anyways im just gonna buy an acekard2i theres this cheap store selling it for just 9.9$ !
