Will this ever be able to have native ds resolution for 3dsxl? like how the lameboy does? its fullscreened how big the ds games are on the 3dsxl

probably stupid answer but better than others i had seen here

everytime i launch the plugin the options changed get back to original... can i channge options on a file or how do i keep options from reseting?

Quick question... is it possible to use gameshark SP cheats on tempGBA for games? I remember downloading this big archive of 'tested' cheats previously, but the biggest problem is that the overwhelming majority are either in moonspeak or really bad engrish, so I can't understand it if there was supposed to be any notes to the cheat in question.

Speaking of, is it possible to read notes on that part of the list?

Asking because I've got an itch for the GBA Final Fantasy titles, and some of the gamesharkSP codes were fantastic. Not that I'd need many, but yea, the Engrish when it tries to read the code file doesn't help me at all :(

I doubt it. if I remember correctly, TempGBA is based off of uo gPSP Kai, which is notorious for being very picky about its cheats. Even if a cheat code works on other emulators, there's a chance it won't work on gPSP Kai. I assume TempGBA has the same problem, and thus haven't tried its cheat function.

tempgba has _zero_ cheats at all, as far as I can remember it's got next to nothing, and even when you try it still is like "nope" ain't going to do it. so I have given up on its cheats it's an amazing emulator beyond that though.

Has there been any effort done to re-implement a cheat system for games?

I personally would love to, but assembly is not my forte, and it'd be in a very unfamiliar SDK environment (to me).

Is this still being supported? I've been experiencing some saving issues with MegaMan Battle Network 4. I know I could just use states, but having the ability to save in-game would be nice too.

For that be perfect tempgba:
- Must be 100% compatible with gba games.
- Must be 100% compatible with gba hacks.
- Allow use cheats with gba games.
- Allow wireless connection gba games.

Much as I would like all this to happen, I seriously doubt it.

You might just be better off with a GBA flashcart specifically if you want the compatibility.

That said, I would indeed be very happy if the cheat engine in tempGBA worked again, and even moreso if local wireless could be done for the multiplayer games.

Just throwing a message here to thank everybody who worked on TempGBA. I only received my DSTwo this week (very late into the DS scene!) and have been extremely impressed so far - everything I have tried such as the Mario games, Donkey Kong games, F-Zero etc. have worked with minimum issues. Looks brilliant on my new DSi XL.

I assume this project is now dormant given no new updates have been released since 2013, but good job all. :)

I also wanted to say thank you to the developers of this. I was really excited when i got my dstwo card and then when i tried playing MMBN and golden sun I found them to be nearly unplayable- at least with sound on. They both work with tempgba and now i can enjoy some nostalgia on my 3ds, so thank you.

Thanks for a great gba emu. I want to ask why it doesn't have screen settings such as full screen or 256x171 for DS? And fps we can display on a lower screen, isn't it? Because on 3ds XL it's ugly. If it just sound synchronization problem, can we make this settings appear when we disable sound?

Now that ninjhax is out in the wild, I can't wait for this to be ported to 3DS. Whoever does so will be a god. (Plus, they get to stick it to Nintendo as well for ignoring GBA support for so long!)

This is a MIPS emulator, with a MIPS just-in-time compiler.

Unless the 3DS has a MIPS processor in it, this will not work. Port something else.

I've received a private message about this as well. Please don't contact me again regarding TempGBA on 3DS without a flashcart, as this is squarely a Supercard DSTwo internal CPU emulator. Thanks.

You completely misunderstood me.

With the announcement of 3DS hacks, I saw, both today, one post in this thread by you (Canadacdn), and received a private message by an unnamed person, both asking if this emulator could be "ported" to the 3DS native no-flashcart exploit thinger that's making everyone run around like headless chickens.

I was saying that this emulator could not be the one that is ported, unless either:
a) The 3DS got a MIPS chip to run TempGBA when I wasn't looking;
b) Someone wrote an ARM compiler.

'a' would mean an immediate port, but the option is unlikely. 'b' would mean many months, up to a year, of effort.

I just hope this last page can get cleaned up by a moderator.

can anybody link me to a mirror download for tempgba 1.45? filetrip is awful. it keeps stopping at 50% of the way.
