@squee666 Incognito isn't needed anymore. You can just edit the exosphere.ini file and make it blank the prodinfo. Much safer imho.
Sure let me boot atmosphere on my mariko and do that at this time@squee666 Incognito isn't needed anymore. You can just edit the exosphere.ini file and make it blank the prodinfo. Much safer imho.
I already checked the chip inside. What did installer do with my switch..... I may should consider to contact other installer to correct problems....Bad install, sorry to hear. At this point I would open switch up to make sure the chip is even inside.

Thank you for answer
anyways were you able to track it , and if so what site did you use and which carrier is it, my tracking starts with UF anyone know if yanwen tracking numbers start with UF ?
17track or riot ;PI am using an iOS app named Parcel. It has a subscription (around 3$ per year in my region), and works like charm. I just added this track code to the app, and the next day the info started to update. It is Yanwen, yeah
I wrote to txswitch around 10 days before, to ask about any updates, but nobody answered of course

Hi. I requested modchip installer to install sx core in my patched switch but after install the modchip, it is not boot Sx os but only ofw..
The installer don’t understand why it didn’t work. He said there’s no problem with soldering and I read some trustable reviews about his skills before contact him.
Does anyone have same problem with me?
Should I contact other installers or Just forget about modchip?
When the sx core installed, should the memory card always be inserted? In order to verify that the mod chip is installed properly you can take the MicroSD card out of the Switch and power it on, if you see the "sad" microsd card logo asking for the boot.dat file that means that the modchip is installed correctly.
Another way to test it would be powering on the Switch and open the photos app from the menu and see it the SX menu opens.
I know it might be confusing bc some people expects a different OS when the SX core is installed, it looks exactly the same as the original OS but with the big difference that when you open the photos app you have got access to the SX menu..
Try those steps and let me know how it goes
i mean it requires boot.dat so yesWhen the sx core installed, should the memory card always be inserted?
I'm not sure why, but the website I'm using for tracking isn't giving a delivery estimate this morning. It was earlier though. If you want to track your shipment I believe this one, parcelsapp.com/en/tracking gives you the most detail for your shipment when you put in that really long destination postcode.well that sounds even better
much closer than China or even jamaica
very close to me since i am in Boston
i just hope it is really there and that the entry doesn't mean that it is on it's way there from China, if it is in Jamaica NY then i should receive it pretty quickly i would think since i am not that far away
Damn thats some nice soldering. Doesnt even look like you attached the 2 anchor points ?
Woohooo! Finally done! I was almost shit in my pants when i got a bridge when soldering. I thought i fucked up at that moment! Luckily i manage to remove the bridge from using the suction.
Why are you guys speculating so much when the chip itself literally has a light that tells you whats wrong:
Green - good to go
Blue/purple - bad solder connection
Red - no solder connection
Also whats possible is that the nand module wasnt put into the chip, since the manual is pretty vague about it.
Btw. yanwen isnt yanwen. The cheap yanwen from alieexpress takes months, othet sellers use the premium yanwen shipping which only takes a few days.
I couldn't understand those people who paid 30 bucks for an ultra-mega-express delivery only to save 5-6 days
So is it best to keep an extra sd card with all your files on it in case your sd card gets corrupted? Or is keeping them on your laptop fine, just have to reformat it and copy the files over again?i mean it requires boot.dat so yes
Are you sure? This is what it's in exosphere.ini@squee666 Incognito isn't needed anymore. You can just edit the exosphere.ini file and make it blank the prodinfo. Much safer imho.

Your exosphere is broken. Are you sure? This is what it's in exosphere.ini
Let me mark the lines; the file itself (the one you linked) says that is not know if it is safe to use:Your exosphere is broken.
