Hi my friend where can I get a large micro sd card 512 g please...with cheaper price...thanksHeads up if you haven't used a 64gb or higher card in your switch do it now.
Doing so installs sd driver you will need for larger cards
has tx even started sending out the lites yet? last i saw they were delayed because of nintendoCores are in stock but Lites have yet to pop up on Ali.

Depends on what you want. If you want to have the latest firmware you can update since sxos supports 10.0.4 - if you want to stay on an older firmware you dont update.
Only thing I advice before installation is linking a nintendo account, because its not possible anymore after installation (I dont know why, on my switch it just puts out an error message and I have to restart the switch)
So ideally I would say:
1. Update firmware
2. Link account
3. Install Modchip
4. Make NAND Backup
5. Activate emuNAND
Firmware doesn’t matter as long as the sxos supports it. So anything above firmeware 2.0, it’ll work on.

Couple of questions which came to my mind while watching other installs:
1) Do you cut frame around Tegra to make flat cable more room for perfect closure of shielding ?
2) Do you connect USB debug port - it is not mentioned in guide, it is inside so it is practicaly useless. Is it possible to close and screw console with this inside without any metal shield cutting ? What is it for anyway ?
3) Do you stick this part with some tape to shield to prevent its moving or just lay it on the shield and screw it together ?
4) Could be there any visible bulkiness of console based on decisions taken in 1)-3) ?
5) Regarding sofftware part - i think, that FAT32 formatted card with Emunand created as hidden partition is the best choice ?
Or do you prefer exFat or standard filesystem nand ?
Just bend the metal a bit upwards.
Without the debug port you can close console without cutting the shield.
This will result in a slight buldge. I dont know how people are so stupid to believe anchor points cause a buldge when its literally nowhere near the part that causes the buldge. In fact you can make the anchor points so big that you cant even screw the cooler on and it wont cause any buldge.
Dont use exFAT - I have a 512GB microSD and using exFAT with like 40 games half of them got corrupted within a year (and I only used the switch like once a week without any homebrew or similiar)
See pic since people are to blind to actually look at their console.
Those are literally buttons in the sx boot menu, you click on options and the according button, then just do what it says, thats all.
Youre explaining that the heat spreader buldges and thus makes the heat pipe rise, which still has no effect on the outer shell of the console.
There is a lot of room where the heat pipe sits and the buldge is in a completly different location.
Show me a single picture of big anchor points causing a buldge near the middle of the console where the modchip sits. There isnt.
And exFAT vs FAT32 isnt a choice. There are known driver issues with exFAT on the switch causing corruption. Youre at least twice as likely to get a corrupt game, if not more, when using exFAT.
