    because of Nintendo?
what would Nintendo have to do with it why would there be a delay for the lite but not the core if it was because of Nintendo?
are you sure it's not more like a problem with sourcing parts because of the virus that would make more sense as each device uses different parts
they said even before the virus that that core would come first and then lite would come later , then they changed it after the virus delays to say they were both coming out at the same time , do you have any source on this news that it is because of Nintendo?

Couple of questions which came to my mind while watching other installs:

    1) Do you cut frame around Tegra to make flat cable more room for perfect closure of shielding ?
    2) Do you connect USB debug port - it is not mentioned in guide, it is inside so it is practicaly useless. Is it possible to close and screw console with this inside without any metal shield cutting ? What is it for anyway ?
    3) Do you stick this part with some tape to shield to prevent its moving or just lay it on the shield and screw it together ?
    4) Could be there any visible bulkiness of console based on decisions taken in 1)-3) ?
    5) Regarding sofftware part - i think, that FAT32 formatted card with Emunand created as hidden partition is the best choice ?
Or do you prefer exFat or standard filesystem nand ?

1)I bend clip upwards to allow ribbon through
    2)Haven't needed it yet
3)It wont move once plastic back plate is back on but taping it down wont hurt - Be careful on bending pulling ribbon
4)No bulks if anchor points arent to bubbly
5)Many options - No 1 best solution, fat32 and exfat are good - most of my installs are exfat

Just bend the metal a bit upwards.
Without the debug port you can close console without cutting the shield.
This will result in a slight buldge. I dont know how people are so stupid to believe anchor points cause a buldge when its literally nowhere near the part that causes the buldge. In fact you can make the anchor points so big that you cant even screw the cooler on and it wont cause any buldge.
Dont use exFAT - I have a 512GB microSD and using exFAT with like 40 games half of them got corrupted within a year (and I only used the switch like once a week without any homebrew or similiar)

See pic since people are to blind to actually look at their console.

This is false as the anchor points being to big will create the heat spreader to bulge then touch the heat pipe and make it rise. Fixed 2 bulged SX Core installs brought in with this very issue.

Done over 2k mods 90% exfat and all good. Comes down to choice. Any format can get corrupt.

Youre explaining that the heat spreader buldges and thus makes the heat pipe rise, which still has no effect on the outer shell of the console.
There is a lot of room where the heat pipe sits and the buldge is in a completly different location.
Show me a single picture of big anchor points causing a buldge near the middle of the console where the modchip sits. There isnt.

And exFAT vs FAT32 isnt a choice. There are known driver issues with exFAT on the switch causing corruption. Youre at least twice as likely to get a corrupt game, if not more, when using exFAT.

What temperature do you recommend to solder the modchip without risking the capacitors?

    Some people recommended 350-400C.
    I used 400C on a TS100 which should effectively be like 350C.
Youre not really touching the capacitors too much, youre just pulling solder from a joint towards it for like 1-2 seconds.

Fixed 2 bulges brought in by reducing anchor points so it is confirmed. There is lead way but once they are to big you will have a bulge. Keep in mind the rails where anchors touch are supposed to be semi-flat

Miss aligned heat spreader can also cause bulge I guess.

Youre confirming yourself without proof, alright. End of discussion then.
Ofcourse there is buldge when you put 2cm high solder on it - but at that point 1. You cant mount the cooler properly and 2. The buldge will be where the heatpipe is, NOT where the modchip is. And the buldge from the modchip is what were talking about, NOTHING else.
Were not talking about a buldge because somebody was actively stupid and bend parts.

If you do everything right there is a buldge as shown in the picture. If anyone is doubting that, literally remove only the backcover of an unmodded console, just put the modchip (with a NAND installed) where it would sit if it was installed and close the backcover - there is your buldge which has ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to do with anchor points or installation error or other stuff people make up.
