I have a quick question so since they relased info that we will also be getting a english version of infinity moment does that mean you guys will stop your the patch or what is going to happen because im sure someone will make a iso of the english version when it comes out

where did you read this ? i thought it was for the psvita, the NA port, not the psp one.

Along with the Hollow Fragment in a budle deal we will also be getting a english version of Infinity moments doesnt that mean someone can just port it over to a iso?

They're basically releasing a Vita port of Infinity Moment. You can't play Vita games on a PSP.

It would be really a shame if the fan-translation for the PSP port was cancelled at this point after all the effort.
I hope the team will release their tools and a bare-bones modified version of the original (I mean, like the font, the various ASM hacks to accomodate latin characters..) at least for the non-English people who'd like to begin a translation for their own languages (given that working on the Vita version is impossible at this point). I mean, I'm still bitter about the translators for Graces not even releasing their tools (there are other languages than multi-5, you know)

Your right you can't play vita games on a psp but you can play psp games on vita and ps3 its still a iso just cross ported

Nah, it won't be cancelled. I don't plan on getting a Vita because of financial reasons, and only one person on the team has one.

Furthermore, Hollow Fragment is merely that, Hollow Fragment. It's not an Infinity Moment HD remake.

It could even surpass the official translation, I mean the ones translating Tales of Phantasia X PSP considered taking the script for that iOS English port (who's by the way getting its servers shut down in three weeks and as a result becoming an effectively unusable file) and insert it in their patch... but they found out that it was riddled with typos and mistakes, and generally of questionable quality.

It's not a standalone. That's the point I was trying to get across. It's something like Dissidia 012 (by that I mean it has both IM and HF), only in a different platform.

ive been looking into this whole psn download in the west thing and found no mention of it on the psn store. i want to be sure i can get it before i cancel my order on the Taiwanese version. can anyone post a link to the pre-order page, if there is one.

Well it does have Japanese voiceovers, but so far the Japanese version definitely DOESN'T have the PSP game, and the Chinese (easily available for Japanese folks) version didn't get an announcement it included it.

EDIT: The original Vita Hollow Fragment Japanese version IS already an enhanced version of Infinity Moment. Talk about misleading marketing. And the US version has dual-audio.

Oh really? Did they announce that the US version will have dual-audio? My friend wanted to know but I couldn't find any official sources stating that it will have Japanese audio.
