Is NX-Venom the "new OC-Suite"?

The installation guide says, you should overwrite .ini configs, when updating the project with AIO. However, I do not want to overwrite my hekate_ipl config, because if have some custom icons. Why is this recommended?

No. It's just a CFW package with some tools modified.

Am i the only one who have this problem....?
Yes, because my bet is that uninstalling any bigger sysmodule would result in fixing it. Your custom sysmodules take too much ram. Delete some.

Can someone point me to a download link where I can get a working OC suite for OFW 18.1.0 and AMS 1.7.1?
I had big problems with overclocking last time when migrating from OFW 16 to 17, especially with the loader.kip and not working RAM oc > 1600 Mhz and uncapped GPU frequencies.

Grab the latest version of OC Switchcraft EOS from this discord: https://discord.gg/GuE4tdG7Xt

Just grab a role (Erista or Mariko) and head over to #tools-projects-and-homebrews

I updated today to OFW 18.1.0 and AMS 1.7.1.
So far everything went great.
I have now tried "OC_Switchcraft_EOS 1.4.3 - atmosphere 1.7.1". I copied the contents of the folder "copy to sd card" to my sd card.
I can open the ultrahand overlay, I can see in packages "OC Switchcraft EOS 1.4.3", I see that my maxmimum RAM frequency is 1862 MHz. But how can I apply this value? Do I need to reboot the system via the oc switchcraft eos package? This does not change anything; after rebooting to cfw my maximum RAM frequency is still 1600 MHz in the sys-clk overlay.
What do I do wrong?

EDIT: forgot to add "kip1=atmosphere/kips/loader.kip" to the heakte bootloader ipl ini.
Now it works! Thanks!

I installed OC Switchcraft EOS latest version today on my Erista.
So I have to set the clocks with sys-clk-oc and the undervolt/other settings with OC Switchcraft?

What I wonder is: When I set for example an undervolt level with Switchcraft the voltage for the same cpu clock doesn't change from the default. But it should? Am I doing something wrong?

You can set everything in the switchcraft package overlay. For the changes to take effect you have to restart your console via oc switchcraft (reboot option appears when you press right several times).

Guys, anyone have ram list & its maxed clocked for switch? I remember saw it somewhere in CTCaer discord screenshot

Just trying looking the best version switch i can get for now

Hello, I'm a total noob concerning hacked Switch, I know I just got a v1 with FW 17 and Hekate...

Can I use this OC suite without upgrading firmware and Atmosphere/Hekate ? (sorry, I told you I was a noob...)

Thanks !:)

I wonder whether it might be possible to create for Switch something like auto-cpufreq for Linux, i.e. a utility to automatically set CPU / GPU clock higher / lower depending on how much performance a given game needs in real-time, thus saving the battery without compromising performance.

Im curious about this as well, do we need to overwrite the ini?

if you have certain file extensions set with in your hekate.ini then just copy those to the new ini file and save but as far as overwriting everything I wouldn't!

I can adjust my ram and gpu no issue as high as I want to, but for some reason my cpu won’t go above 1963mhz even if I set the limit to be higher. Is there any reason why the ram and gpu can over lock pretty much where I want it to, but my cpu can’t?

I can select higher frequencies in the wizard, but then they don’t show in actual sys clk , only up to 1963.

Everything is up to date, latest version of nx venom etc
