which sys-clk.nro version should be used for the newest oc-suite? in your older version sys-clk.nro has been included, in the newer versions not. and sys-clk-overlay shows me a fatal error.
only overlay supported. and it's included in sdout.zip

Hello, I just want to use Mariko's maximum safe frequency (1963/998/1996) without modifying any parameters when editing Kip online, and then save it, whether it can be used normally

um sorry hard to understand because of translation.
but if you are asking if you can use without editing kip, yes. it will use default settings

Version 1.6.2 is released

  • problematic 2397 CPU is removed (you can still use 2397 if you enable cpu undervolt)
  • memory voltage range is reverted back (official limits is put in description for reference)
  • fixed bug where wrong mariko cpu/gpu dvfs table was being used while patching limits

Why is this frequency of 2397 MHz considered problematic?

Has anyone been able to achieve stable/tested 2064-2100+ RAM oc on Mariko? If yes, default timings?Overvolt? I'm interested to know if I could go a bit past 1998 on oled with micron ram.Thanks.

mariko usually ships with 4266 spec ram chips, so 2131 is almost guaranteed to work. and up to 2400 works for most chips

Could I have some guidance on that?1998 works great on oled micron, say for anything over mabye 2064 should I manually change timings or overvolt or leave at auto and default?

you have micron ram which is 4266 specs chip. 2131 should work fine for you. only overvolt if necessary since ov will increase power draw, but ov will help with timing stabilities

Sorry to bother is this of any use?One more thing how would I know if overvolting is necessary and 😄 secondly would 2132 work paired with higher GPU and CPU clocks?when I run 1998 mem i sometimes run it along 7xx-8xx gpu and 15xx-16xx cpu all stable

I'm obviously not knowledgeable enough but look, me pulling some micron documentation I googled least shows I've serious level of interest and looking to get this issue I have sorted 😆Now tell me how would I know if I should overvolt and if I should leave the timings on auto or not and I'm gonna run. Thanks!

Thanks for the advice I've decided to place it at 2064 with no overvolt and default timings. Now what I really think would help many of us is a way of finding optimal timings without having to go through trial and error and possibly corrupt the nands.

There's no easier way to adjust timings than going through trial and error. Not all RAM chips are created equal (some presets work better on one than the other) so it needs to have its own tuning for the best performance. It is highly encouraged to do the tests in an emunand.

Do NOT immediately set the max RAM clock during boot, else you are likely to cause a bootloop. Always do all tests in a running game or in the memory tester homebrew apps in title takeover.

What's your experience with it so far? Have you reached fast stable timings on your RAM?
