A year ago my brother borrowed my switch with sx pro. I got it back but it doesn't work anymore. He says it has to do with the sx pro dongle not being charged and switch put in auto RCM, unfortunately, the sx pro dongle and chip are lost. Will buying a new charged sx pro fix my switch or will only my previous dongle work ? Thanks. Sorry I don't know much about it.

Just use a USB-C cable like what comes with the Pro Controller and Charge Grip and connect it to your PC and send the payload with TegraRcmGUI. Or use an Android phone with an OTG cable for more convenient payload injecting, don't remember what the app is called but once installed and set up it auto injects when plugged into a Switch.

TegraRcmGUI even comes with the payload you need.

Two questions!
1. The Switch, although detected by Windows, isn't recognized, is it necessary for it to be recognized
2. Do I download the SX loader or the SX pro OS ?

Oh nvm got it to connect w another cable nice

I used my intuition and injected the sx loader, it worked and loaded and now there's a lighted black screen with the symbol of low battery and charging (even though I charged it before hand). Removing the usb c cable makes the switch dead again. Should I wait for it to be charged(probably extremely slow), and will it work when it is ?

Charge it overnight, around 8 hours, just to make sure.
