Thanks again for the tips. Now I'm confused about software. I have installed hekate onto my rcm loader and held the volume down button before injecting the payload, and it just loads atmosphere instead of hekate?? Do you know why this is?
Yeah so basically I’ve got a couple vids of it still doing the same thing unfortunately don’t have the screwdrivers needed to take it apart so hopefully you can just about see it in the videos I’ve taken, it seems to flash purple about 10 times and then flashed green really fast and boots into ofw.

So I’ve managed to get a video and a photo of the chip anyone got any ideas why it keeps booting into ofw and not into hekate? View attachment 348940View attachment 348939
You can try this, post #15 in the thread.
I have both V1 and V2 and can run some tests. Wait. Are you installing the official version from Ninty servers? I might could do a face off of a “backup“ game install. Not sure I want to buy two copies of official Fortnite just to test though…Does anyone have a V1 and a V2?
What are your game update install times like between the two?
When fortnite gets an update, both download the files in the same amount of time but my V1 installs the update in under halve the time my V2 takes!
Both are installing to SD card and both have the same class of card although different capacities, just odd that one console performs so much faster than the other when doing game updates......

What contents? Like a screenshot? And for my RCM loader or switch sd?was it working properly before?
did you make any recent changes?
Please post the contents of you /bootloader/hekate_ipl.ini file here.
I know someone here soldered 3GB memories and patched atmosphere...
But has anyone here ever soldered the fastest rams you could ever find with the same exact pin layout?
I would be interested is knowing if yes what's the max clocks you could get in such memories on switch?
no way for me to tell if there was anything rattling around inside your RCMloader before you tried the reset pin. I can tell you that nothing is rattling around in mine the rattling sound is not normal. There’s no way to tell if it’s impacting anything without you taking it apart and finding out.Hey guys. I was trying to load up hekate on the User 1 on my rcm loader, and my rcm loader one can only access blue and green. So I tried resetting it by inserting a pin into the reset hole, and it did nothing. I deleted what was on the user 1 file and now I can switch only between blue, green, and yellow.
My new concern now is, is my rcm loader now broken after I tried using the reset hole? I can hear something shake inside of it when I shake the RCM loader. Has something always shaked inside a RCM loader when you shake it?
I’m inquiring about the data inside the file on your SDCard called /bootloader/hekate_ipl.ini. Please copy that data and paste it here so we can read it and see if there is anything that might be causing issues with booting. What contents? Like a screenshot? And for my RCM loader or switch sd?
We need to see the contents of the file in order to discuss further. Also yes, it did work before. I launched it and Hekate had atmosphere in it. I decided to try out atmosphere on the hekate program. Ever since then, when I tried loading up Hekate it just goes in to Atmosphere.
Sounds like there might be an issue with /bootloader/hekate_ipl.ini file. Please post the contents of that file so we can take a look.I got Hekate to load and my RCM loader seems to be doing fine now using your advice from earlier. I have a question about switch root linux through Hekate. I launched switch root Ubuntu and it says "No mandatory secmon or warmboot provided! Failed to launch HOS! Press any key..." and any key just takes me back to Hekate.

nevermind i got it to work by reinstalling hekate.
It’s a flag you can use to run Chrome as root. Take a look here for more info on installing Chrome (including no-sandbox option)yeah sorry for bothering, i got it to work by reinstalling. I have a question about my linux now on the switch though. I hope I won't have to bother you anymore after this! But, it says on the Chromium Web Browser "You are using an unsupported command-ine flag: ~~no~sandbox. Stability and security will suffer." What does this mean? And is it something I have to fix? I am using Switch Root's ubuntu btw.
