they changed it because of the holiday
No, they changed it because they're lying and don't know the actual release date.
We know that because...

1 - It's been changed by them multiple times even before the holiday.
2 - The supercard site does not mention a release.
3 - The supercard team promised shoptemp would have it first.

This waiting game sucks but I suppose it's all for the best. Imagine getting it early and then weeping with frustration as the card keeps on crashing and eventually bricking your DS

You see guys? THAT's why GamingMart is not too reliable. I'm pretty sure they were banned from here for a reason

I asked a few days ago, where is it and this was the reply
It will still take some time. There's a post about it here: http://forum.supercard.sc/thread-5933-1-1.html
I replied
I herd a similar story about a hand held called a Pandora, two years later still no Pandora, this is starting to look very similar and I am not going to wait much longer, I think I will look at a Sony PSP instead Nintendo DSi

The difference is that the SuperCard guys have been around for long enough (since GBA days at least) that it will happen - just maybe not on the time scale you want it to.

Realistically, does anybody think it is likely to come out this month? or even the start of June? If not what cart would be a good dsi alternative?

ShopTemp sent me an email this morning about the card. Apparently one of the GBATemp reviewers has received a sample kit but is waiting on the firmware to test it and review it. By the sounds of things, the SC team is getting ready to release the card within the next couple of weeks after sample units have been delivered and firmware has been completed.

    @Xdqwerty, Yeah, I'd recommend having another OS just in-case you want to play games.
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
    At least Linux doesn't contain spyware than what Windows has.
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
    @SylverReZ, cuz of lag?
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
    @Xdqwerty, No. Whenever you use the internet on Windows, Microsoft collects personal data and installs bloatware that isn't necessarily needed, such as Edge.

    @SylverReZ,
    I recall @impeeza mentioned some trick about not having bloatware when installing windows where you set up your country to "world" or smh like that

  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
    Yes, you can debloat the operating system, but in some cases for me it just reinstalls them.

    @SylverReZ,
    I also recall my brother downloded a "non bloated" version of windows 11 on his pc

  • impeeza @ impeeza:
    @Xdqwerty yes, when you are installing Windows on the first steps you are asked for your current location, you MUST to select «international» so no bloatware is installed, because the bloatware is location based. if this night I have some time I will setup a VM and take screenshots.

    This one lady... her son kept installing Kazaa... OK no problem the issue is he would download DBZ movies and they where amazing usually like 2-8KB in size lol can't remember how many times I had to format and reinstall windows over his stupidity. I even explained to him about file sizes multiple times...
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
    yeah Bonzi buddy was malware sort of... It was borderline lol
