What do you mean? You (also) added more pieces to puzzles you partially had and they didn't appear?
Which puzzles exactly?

You mean, I need to have at least one piece of a puzzle to complet it with cheat ?
Not necessarily. But you need to have already downloaded the puzzle for you to see it (you can share pieces even if it's not downloaded), and already having at least 1 piece is proof you have the image...

I can't use JKSV on Sysnand, so I extracted the whole Extdata with extdata_dump. I see that on the /00000218/ folder, there are two "meet" files: meet_ext0.dat and meet_ext1.dat. How can I edit my Mii Plaza information to get everything unlocked? Thanks in advance.

They only have (some of?) the progress for the paid games, the main data is in the regular save, not extdata!!

If you run the meet.dat file through the save editor in the OP there should be options to complete puzzles etc. Always keep backups to ensure that you can always revert. The puzzles are initiated by spotpass data, so as long as you have spotpass enabled, you should have all available puzzles initiated regardless of how many individual pieces you have.

I don't know if someone managed to do it, but I think I found a way to unlock the hat shop. Can anyone upload here a savegame with a hat shop unlocked legally?

Also, the save editor here edits the 5x3 puzzle swap panels incorrectly, and destroys some unknown data (maybe DLC games status) when unlocking hats, be careful.

Here it is the online editor:
http://www.marcrobledo.com/apps/html5-savegame-editors/
It does mostly the same as the editor in this topic, but it unlocks hats, costumes and puzzle swap pieces correctly.
You can also now unlock all pieces but one in puzzle swap panels, so you can get the complete panels achievement legally.
It also allows to unlock the shop.

They are not exactly errors. It just put a bunch of 0xff bytes in order to unlock all hats and costumes (except Find Mii ones), killing some data that include DLC game progress amongst other unknown bytes. My editor write the only needed bytes in order to unlock them correctly.
Also the old editor sets the 5x3 puzzle swap puzzles to 16 pieces instead of 15. In this case, the game reads it correctly and it doesn't overwrite any data since there is plenty of room between puzzles, but it's always good to do it the way it should be.

@Jayro, I don't see whats so special about the DS ML, its just a DS lite in a phat shell. At least the phat model had louder speakers, whereas the lite has a much better screen.

They probably said "Hey, why not we combine the two together and make a 'new' DS to sell".

It's a DS Lite in a slightly bigger DS Lite shell.

    It's not a Nintendo / iQue official product, it's a 3rd party custom.

Nothing special about it other than it's more comfortable than the Lite

@SylverReZ if you could find a v5 DS ML you would have the best of both worlds since the v5 units had the same backlight brightness levels as the DS Lite unlockable with flashme

A woman with no arms and no legs was sitting on a beach. A man comes along and the woman says, "I've never been hugged before." So the man feels bad and hugs her. She says "Well i've also never been kissed before." So he gives her a kiss on the cheek. She says "Well I've also never been fucked before." So the man picks her up, and throws her in the ocean and says "Now you're fucked."

anyways, we need to re-normalize physical media

if i didn't want my games to be permanent, then i'd rent them

Agreed, that why I try to buy all my games on disc, Xbox anyways. Switch games (which I pirate tbh) don't matter much, I stay offline 24/7 anyways.
  • AncientBoi @ AncientBoi:
    I don't pirate them, I Use Them :mellow:. Like I do @BigOnYa 's couch :tpi::evil::rofl2:

@BakerMan - you can still "own" digital media, arguably easier and better than physical since you can make copies and backups, as much as you like.

    The issue is DRM
  • cearp @ cearp:
You can buy drm free games / music / ebooks, and if you keep backups of your data (like documents and family photos etc), then you shouldn't lose the game. but with a disk, your toddler could put it in the toaster and there goes your $60

    :rofl2:
  • cearp @ cearp:
still, I agree physical media is nice to have. just pointing out the issue is drm
  • rqkaiju2 @ rqkaiju2:
i like physical media because it actually feels like you own it. thats why i plan on burning music to cds
  • cearp @ cearp:
It's nice to not have to have a lot of physical things though, saves space
