what do i have to do after i get upinfosav to make sonic classic collection work?

Put them three files if you are using dstt or R4 original with ysmenu kernal , in the TTMenu folder and replace the old files

Other question, why, so many game inside Extinfo.dat, have "00000000" for ID?

I have no idear what that is but they don't seam to be dowing anythink for some games , when the jap team takes over it they sean to add the first GameID correct and add a bunch of 0's

I took one out for zelda ST (E) then the game did not work with tarin controlls, so they might be dowing somethink...
Somebody told me, the "00000000" allows to play with the game "XXXX" (XXXX = nintendo code)
if it patched (Released by one hacker team or another) etc...

With the right code, you can play only one game, with the precise CRC code!

i prefer the second option!

Why not do a total rebuild of savlib.dat , infolib.dat , saveliv.dat for (E) and (U) roms only ?

Also this would require a few people with diffrent games to work on it

Unless they are dis-agreements hear ?

This will also help with speed-ups for the latest games in infolib.dat

Infolib.dat maker for DSTT or clone R4s

FIXED: http://gbatemp.net/index.php?showtopic=214...p;#entry2712974

Or Infolib.dat maker for ysmenu for r4 original option

FIXED: http://gbatemp.net/index.php?showtopic=217...p;#entry2714867

im exactly thinking about the same...

I imagine a topic with the code for each game,

New game = New topic about it, check, test and find the right code
and after that, we put the code found in a global topic...

Like that, we can creat our own infolib/extinfo/savlib like we want!

This obviously freezes on loading on dstt, but it runs fine on original r4 running 1.18 firmware, any way to get it going on dstt/ys,menu?

A woman with no arms and no legs was sitting on a beach. A man comes along and the woman says, "I've never been hugged before." So the man feels bad and hugs her. @BakerMan - you can still "own" digital media, arguably easier and better than physical since you can make copies and backups, as much as you like.

    The issue is DRM
  • cearp @ cearp:
You can buy drm free games / music / ebooks, and if you keep backups of your data (like documents and family photos etc), then you shouldn't lose the game. but with a disk, your toddler could put it in the toaster and there goes your $60

    :rofl2:
  • cearp @ cearp:
still, I agree physical media is nice to have. just pointing out the issue is drm
  • rqkaiju2 @ rqkaiju2:
i like physical media because it actually feels like you own it. thats why i plan on burning music to cds
