Wild price divergence in these online and lots of hk shippers make me think this is getting faked hard. How to spot the real and where to source with uk shipping?

If you google "E3 Flasher fake" you can find some comparison images/videos.
However, I did hear from someone that they bought one of the Chinese ebay E3 Flashers and it downgraded correctly for them. Not sure if it was an official one or the clones are just better now then the initial reports from 2012.

I ordered one from ebay and I downgraded my PS3 correctly.

One thing you can spot about fake flashers is the chip on the underside of the board will just have plain text written on it. Real flashers have those bars covered up with black tape or something, for some odd reason (a bit confusing.)

So, flashers that have text on the chips covered with black tape are genuine flashers while those that do not have the tape are fake flashers.
