I was browsing Member Feedback in the trading forum and noticed the section is sorted by thread title. I understand this makes some sort of sense in alphabetical organisation of members, but it kinda becomes moot when there are 16 pages to sift through anyway. Sorting by last message as the rest of the forum is would make more sense in my mind, showing the more recent members who have been trading and their associated feedback.

I understand you can change the sorting manually, but I really feel the default should match the rest of the forum.

Click here twice to get it to sort by last post:

But sorting it by last feedback would make it more difficult if the person hasn't traded in a long time.
At least with alphabetical you have an idea where to look.

Just to be a pedant I should say the USN defaults to start date rather than last post for fairly obvious reasons. As I recall that needed a plugin to do so you might be able to another entry for this.

That said I am not sure it warrants it. Something like the USN does as it is, or was at the time, an everyday forum. Feedback being sorted as a directory (as in phone directory/address book) does have some compelling reasoning and the convenience factor for those that prefer last post is surely not that bad.

Alternatively maybe bookmark https://gbatemp.net/forums/member-feedback.161/?order=last_post_date&direction=desc

Might be worth having a sticky there to say click up there as well for those that might want it.

Don't just post the link, don't post a link to a webp file, don't post an embed link, get the image URL and embed it using the IMG tags.

.... how do i do that...???
  • Veho @ Veho:
Well either take the image URL, ending in .jpg or .png or an image file format, and use the "insert image" button and paste the image link there, or just copy and paste the picture into the status field and it will upload as an attachment and show up in your post.
