So anyone else waiting on something like this? I think I might take myself and start working on models as I believe I can add much more into the character customisation.

I've seen a few guys modding the game, it seems to use the same code (noob here, don't hurt me) as sonic colours and generations. So hopefully they can develop the tools fast.

What do you all think of Sonic Forces? I personally, not a big fan  Though I love the idea of creating your own abominations and running around this world. Such a cool concept, too bad it wasn't realised.

Sonic Forces uses Hedgehog Engine 2, which is basically an updated version of Generations/Colors' engine. So far I've only seen mods that ports some stuff from Forces to Generations (not the other way around) but I guess that it won't take too long for modders to figure out the ins and outs of the new engine. Forces' stages were overly simple and short, so I'd love to see a mod that makes some proper complex and harder stages.

I don't have a wii u anymore to test it myself, but if homebrews are not visible on the wii u menu I think you can press L + R + minus to open the plugin menu, there should be an option called "homebrews on wii u menu" or something similar

    nope
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:

@Xdqwerty you can use a "spawner" function on any object.

  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Or when your player dies, you can say in code, if enemy exists, do nothing, but if enemy does not exist, then create enemy at certain spot. (This would be a pain tho for lots of emeies)

  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Easiest, simple way would be just restart scene, but player would restart from beginning.
