PC Wifi weirdness....

Can any PC builders have a go at explaining what the hell is going on here? It's drving be insane! It's 100% repeatable, not just a one off.
Switching the HDMI + DP cables to 90 degrees results in no download speed, put them back again and everything if fine!

I'm not a PC builder, but... That's your antenna, right, the V that the cables are going down the middle of? I guess either the signals going down the cables along the same vertical line as the antenna are interfering with the WiFi signal, or maybe the right angle adapters aren't as shielded as they could be/as other parts are?

Can you move the antenna, maybe with an extension cable? Or can you point it outwards more instead of vertical? Can you get extra-shielded video cables? If none of that, you might just have to live with the cables coming out horizontally. Or use ethernet instead.
 
Probably EM interference, one option may be to get an antenna that is further away from the system. Something similar to this:

Although make sure whatever you get has the correct connection.
