Duplicate Some threads not converted properly, need a fix.

Some big threads like that weren't converted properly in the update, and since they've been converted to HTML the only thing normal users can do is edit it by hand, but that will likely leave most of the formatting more plain than the original versions (due to the lack of the custom bbcode support the old forum had).

Should we just do a find and replace to convert them to normally-formatted threads, or is a fix coming?

When I had the exact same issue, tj_cool removed any old bbcode/HTML which caused layout issues, but that was the extent of it - you have to manually replace the information that may be missing from the guides. I've noticed that the cut-off points are usually right after or right before an old-style quote box... not that it's very helpful, but hey!

I've been told that auto-replace in a text editor speeds up tag replacement, if that helps. ;)

By clicking Edit -> Use BBCode Editor you may be able to copy the entirety of the post along with the custom code - that way you can preserve, and if needs be, edit the custom formatting using find-and-replace on tags. :)
