Hacking SoftMii Channel Region Free

Can anyone with NTSC play PAL VC games. I tried both International Karate Plus C64 PAL.wad and Mayhem in Monsterland C64 PAL.wad that install fine. However, it just loads to a black screen like before I had softmii installed. I have the following set in my hacks.ini:

[Region free Wii games]
version=289
offset=0x81379818
value=0x38600001
[Region free Wii games]
version=289
offset=0x81377AC4
value=0x38000001

I thought that SoftMii was suppose to fix this, any ideas?

These hacks are for WII GAMES, not VC games.
There is a hack for them.
I think is Region Free Channel or something similar.

If you want region free VC or WiiWare then use freethewads on your file.

    I don't have a wii u anymore to test it myself, but if homebrews are not visible on the wii u menu I think you can press L + R + minus to open the plugin menu, there should be an option called "homebrews on wii u menu" or something similar

    Or when your player dies, you can say in code, if enemy exists, do nothing, but if enemy does not exist, then create enemy at certain spot. (This would be a pain tho for lots of emeies)
